Beauty is Life

Troupe was thrilled to be tasked with creating a 30-second animated television spot for O Boticário, a Brazilian cosmetics company worth billions worldwide. Though the company has been around for nearly 40 years, it needed to formally introduce its new ecommerce site to its US market, with a splashy and modern campaign in its native Portuguese. After undergoing an intense and thorough discovery session where we identified the brand’s key messages, aesthetic and sensibility, we embarked on a complex storyboarding process. The end result was a strong and colorful campaign that married OBoticario’s vivid product line with its desired messaging.

By doing what Troupe does best - understanding and implementing the client’s needs on a granular level- we were able to blend client-provided live action footage of models with a dynamic 3D model of a giftbox. We illustrated its arrival in the US through an engaging ribbon animation that wraps its way through the spot, ending with the desired emphasis on the brand’s new ecom site. This fun and engaging project emphasized Troupe’s expertise in video and proves our ability to go above and beyond the computer screen.
